Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra 2009-10 Season

Great Performances Festival - The Brilliance Of Beethoveen

Ludwig van Beethoven was one of the world’s most famous and influential composers, and his music has been performed by the greatest orchestras all over the globe for nearly 200 years. His legacy is so enduring and his music so popular, that when we go to a movie today or even watch television, chances are we will experience melodies from this amazing composer’s work.

Beethoven wrote some of the most exciting, dramatic and powerful music the world has ever heard.
